Nov 16, 2012- When you write you electrical exam now, you will be given the options of either the 2009 or 2012 Canadian Electrical codebook

The testing centre for the electrical licence started issuing either the 2009 or 2012 codebook on November 16, 2012 when writing the Construction and Maintenance electrical licence or the industrial licence. There will not be any cross over of questions from both code books. So if you prepared for the exam using the 2009 CEC, you will be ready for the exam. If you prepared for the exam using the 2012 CEC, you will be ready for the exam. Both preparation options are available right now online at electricalexam.ca. Your support is unlimited 24/7.
